Everyday Interventions

A mental and physical health crisis is growing globally and has been exacerbated by the COVID -19 pandemic.

Art and landscape-based therapies and connecting with the natural world have long been explored and the beneficial effect on health evidenced. A well-designed therapeutic landscape appears to be an ideal solution to providing some ameliorative or healing effect. However, access to these spaces can be difficult due to urbanisation, working practices, ease or lack of access or simply apathy.

This design proposal aims to negate these barriers by creating therapeutic landscape experiences in the everyday actions of being.
