Twenty Minutes:  a green prescription in Golden Square

Golden Square Garden is one of three pocket parks in Soho, London, a densely populated urban area.  The new Garden replaces a primarily hard landscaped garden with an oasis of green space  designed to  improve visitors’ health and well-being.

The efficacy of the design is particularly important in order to meet the intention to ameliorate levels of Stress, Depression & Anxiety in the resident and working community in a twenty minute visit.   The method adopted to promote revitalisation in this timescale is to evoke and amplify the responses of the five senses to the features in the Garden.
