(TUNNEL VISION)
A regenerative design solution for a post-industrial landscape. Studies have shown place attachment theory and architectural determinism can support a strong and healthy community offering sense of place and improve self worth (Marmot, 2002; Wolf et al., 2014). Tunnel Vision aims to ‘re-socialise’ the landscape with the community which built up around it. By focusing on the landform and geology to inform new generations of the importance of the land they live on. The design also offers a space for cultural expression through creative arts.
