Northampton Green Veining
The project aims to rejuvenate the town centre through green veining, a principle most commonly applied to agricultural land, to connect the fragmented green spaces in the town together. This has the objective of aiding species movement and distribution throughout the town; rebuilding populations of targeted ecosystem agents, such as pollinating insects; and giving the human occupants of the space a greater sense of place and civic pride.
